I was invited by Anne Banks International Speaker and Volunteer Humanitarian Worker, to go to Thailand, and visit an Orphanage and take special images on Assignment. This is something that is really close to my heart, the Orphans and the Widows and how in a small way I may be able to make a difference. The Love and Care Project Foundation was founded by Rodney and Phimpha a husband and wife team who moved me with their compassion in taking care of 16 Orphans. Some of these Children ranging from 6 months to 16 have been rescued or have found them and have become a wonderful caring Family. All the Children are cared for beautifully and Phimpha and Rodney believe in bringing them up without having a Poverty Mentality, by sending them to good Schools, and being able to send them out into the World with a chance at Life. I asked them "how do you feed all these Children?" they replied we live by Faith, everyday we never go without. They never ask for Handouts, miraculously someone will come along or send them money without them ever asking. I was moved to tears, gladly I had my sunglasses on when I met one little girl only 8 who had been sexually abused so badly that she had to be sewn up. Rodney and Phimpha took her to hospital, and it took her a while to trust but in a quite serene way she had the look of peace and love, a healing had taken place, Iam convinced because of being a part of this amazing Couple and Family. I then thought who are we to worry about the little mundane inconveniences in life, when there is a real need out there to help and care for the Orphans of the World. Some of the images shown are not Rodneys and Phimpha's home or Children I was able to take some images in rare places showing some children in Village Camps and country areas. If you would like to genuinly help Rodney and Phimpha you can email me your details.
